The reporting location for this position is Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. This position works under the direction of the State Park Peace Officer Supervisor (Ranger). This position offers the opportunity to work in a high use recreation area. Duties include patrol by vessel and vehicle on Folsom and Natoma Lakes, law enforcement, assisting with public information and interpretation, first aid, and resource management. The incumbent will participate as directed with various water safety programs. The incumbent will also provide assistance to resolve various aquatic related issues with organizations such as aquatic rescue teams, Coast Guard Auxiliary, CSUS Aquatic Center, the PWC Advisory Group, and the Water Safety Coalition.
