The reporting location for this position is the New Brighton State Beach Maintenance Shop. This position may be required to work throughout the Santa Cruz District based on operational needs. The incumbent will perform maintenance, repair and construction on a wide variety of facilities, structures, utility systems, roads and other park facilities.
This position is also responsible for maintaining park grounds, equipment and facilities requiring knowledge of carpentry, electrical and plumbing. The incumbent will work as a lead person for seasonal staff, volunteers and inmate crews as required. The incumbent's work schedule will be Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. State housing is not available.
