Job Description:

The reporting location for this position is at Headquarters in Sacramento. This position will work under the direction of the Fiscal Systems Support Unit Manager. The Fiscal Systems Support Unit is responsible for maintaining CALSTARS, the Department’s official accounting system as well as the Fiscal Tracking System (FTS) – a business intelligence system used by State Park professionals for managing fiscal activities. They will be responsible for the less complex CALSTARS and FTS table maintenance, daily, monthly, and yearly operations of CALSTARS, and development, maintenance and testing of data applications in multiple platforms such as Microsoft Access, Excel, and Monarch. They will assist with the less complex FTS questions and participate in training on both new and existing applications.

Desirable Qualifications: strong personal computer knowledge, good organizational skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of CALSTARS.
