Job Description:

Under the general direction of the Administrator I, the incumbent performs a variety of analytical support activities including, but not limited to, managing amended business entity return inventory, preparing reports surrounding inventory management and communicating and serving as liaison with Audit Division contacts and BES staff. Analyze complex account problems reported by processing staff and recommend a course of action. Assess the business entity return validation program, policies, legislation and procedures to improve efficiency. Work independently and in a team environment with team members. Represent Business Entities Section in departmental meetings, projects and teams. The incumbent recommends a course of action under tight time constraints and with limited information to ensure problem resolution and efficiency of services.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) may also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.
