The reporting location for this position is Red Rock Canyon State Park. This position will work under the general direction of the Sector State Park Superintendent. The incumbent will primarily work in the parks located in the Antelope Valley portion of the Mojave Sector. These parks include Antelope Valley CA Poppy Reserve State Natural Reserve, Antelope Valley Indian Museum State Historic Park, Arthur B. Ripley Desert Woodland State Park, Red Rock Canyon State Park, Saddleback Butte State Park and Tomo Kahni State Historic Park. This position plans, organizes, directs all components of the facilities maintenance program for the park units listed above including housekeeping, facility and equipment, purchasing, project management, safety, and budgeting. This is a diverse and exciting mix of natural and cultural parks with trails, historic structures, campgrounds, and museums. State housing may be available.
