Job Description:
All applicants will be considered, however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. Under the supervision of the Supervising Tax Auditor I (STA I), the Tax Technician III must demonstrate a high degree of independence, initiative and judgment and serve as an expert staff resource. Ability to effectively apply knowledge of complex data processing programs relating to the allocation and funding of state, local, transit district and in-lieu taxes. Apply detailed knowledge of Business Taxes Laws, Rules and Regulations related to the administration of Local & Transactions Sales and Use taxes.

Ability to perform on-line tasks. General knowledge of Bradley Burns law and allocation of local taxes is preferred. Knowledge of basic PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), effective oral and written communication skills, IRIS basics, adapt to changing priorities.
