Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Chief of the Headquarters Operations Division, the Business Taxes Specialist II (Program Advisor) acts as a high level technical resource on matters concerning tax policy issues, including the analysis of legislation, the development of tax policies and procedures unique to the Headquarters Operations Division. The BTS II coordinates tracking of assignments on behalf of the CHOD, serves as liaison and represents the CHOD, as directed. The BTS II reviews, tracks and recommends course of action with respect to Appeals Decisions and Recommendations. Coordinates assignment and tracking on behalf of the Chief of the Headquarters Operations Division, serves as liaison, and acts as the Chief, as directed. The position will also support the Chief of the Headquarters Operations Division in evaluating strategic and operational planning to ensure compliance with the Board’s mission, goals, strategies and objectives.

The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted.

The position is located in a high-rise building.
