The reporting location for this position is at the Resources Agency in Sacramento. This position will work under the direction of the Assistant Secretary for Administration/Finance. The Office Technician position is responsible for various administrative functions. The incumbent will act as a receptionist for the Cabinet level office staff, which includes receiving, screening, and forwarding telephone calls to the appropriate staff or taking messages for members of the Agency staff. This position is responsible for maintaining Agency rosters and phone lists; typing correspondence, reports, memos and charts as well as sorting and distributing all incoming correspondence, faxes, special handling, overnight/next day mail, and hand-carried mail, etc. The incumbent will assist staff members in mailings, errands, photocopying, faxing and filing as requested.
