The reporting location for this position is the Mott Training Center in Pacific Grove. This position will work under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I and the primary duties are to coordinate the planning, development and delivery of the resources and facilities maintenance training courses. The incumbent will work with staff in Field Operations and districts to identify and schedule the training required to ensure all personnel in the maintenance classifications have the knowledge, skills and abilities to succeed in their assigned duties. Responsibilities include the recruitment of instructors and distribution of the required training materials and related equipment. The incumbent will also work with Training Section staff and other Divisions in the development and delivery of resources and facilities maintenance training throughout the state. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic employee who demonstrates high ethical values, leadership skills and works well as a team member. The incumbent must have the ability to communicate effectively with tact & discretion and work successfully with a wide variety of organizations. The candidate for this position will be required to travel. Training and Development assignments may be considered. Candidates with maintenance experience are encouraged to apply.
