Duties: Under the close supervision of the
Office Services Supervisor II, this position operates the personal computer to
prepare a variety of printed material for personnel assigned to the Border
Division office. This position is in charge of all personnel and
administrative filing; subpoena processing and follow through to ensure
officers complete CHP 90s after civil court appearances; makes travel
arrangements for Division employees and requests travel advances; processes
travel expense claims; rotates duties with other office personnel, namely
inter-office mail delivery; processing outgoing mail; clearing comm-net
messages from printer; provides phone and receptionist relief several days per
month on a rotating basis.
position requires an individual who is dependable, punctual, courteous, respectful
and able to maintain a good rapport with fellow employees. A 40 WPM typing
certificate is required.
currently in the classification eligible to transfer, lateral transfers,
voluntary demotions, reinstatements, those eligible for appointment from a
certification list, and employees on a State Restriction of Appointments (SROA)
