Job Description:
This position is currently located in Van Nuys, but will relocate to the Glendale area. Under the direction of the District Administrator (Business Taxes Administrator III), the Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the District Administrator on sensitive departmental and/or program issues by performing a variety of technical, analytical and clerical tasks relating to the administration of the Sales and Use Tax Department, District Office. The incumbent performs a wide variety of complex secretarial/assistant tasks that require confidentiality and a substantial degree of autonomy, relieving the District Administrator of routine administrative details. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. The position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
