Job Description:
Under the direction of the District Administrator (Business Taxes Administrator III), the Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the District Administrator on sensitive departmental and/or program issues by performing a variety of technical, analytical and clerical tasks relating to the administration of the Sales and Use Tax Department, District Office. The incumbent performs a wide variety of complex secretarial/assistant tasks that require confidentiality and a substantial degree of autonomy, relieving the District Administrator of routine administrative details. Meeting the training requirements for this job may require overnight travel for one or more days. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
