The reporting location for this position is One Capitol Mall in Sacramento. This position will work under the direction of the Assistant Deputy Director. The duties include preparing and reviewing architectural designs and plans, researching costs, construction methods, and structural, electrical and mechanical engineering as it relates to historic structures. Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of historic architecture as it relates to the Secretary of Interiors Standards, the California Building Code, the State Historic Building Code and the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) regulations; experience using AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop and strong organizational skills to assist with drafting systems support and management, production and quality control. This position requires a valid certificate of registration as an Architect issued by the California State Board of Architectural Examiners. Please provide proof of eligibility with application.
