The reporting location for this position is Bodie State Historic Park. This position will work under the direction of the State Park Peace Officer Supervisor (Ranger).The incumbent will be part of an exceptional generalist ranger team at this remote park and will be responsible for law enforcement and public safety, natural and cultural resource protection, interpretation, volunteer management, and special even oversight. This position may also act as a liaison with the Bodie Foundation and will work with allied agencies. The successful applicant will also assist in covering operations at Mono Lake State Tufa Natural Reserve. This is a great opportunity to work in a remote location and in a unique unit of the State Park System. Firearms or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) instructor is desirable.
