The reporting location for this position will be Colorado Desert District Office in Borrego Springs. This position will work under the direction of the District Services Manager Senior Park and Recreation Specialist. The incumbent will be responsible for development, implementation and reporting for District archeological projects associated with cultural resource stewardship, management projects and implement archeological projects throughout the Colorado Desert District’s six park units. Duties will include supervision and participation in field survey and site documentation, collections inventory and assessment, report preparation and volunteer training.
