Job Description:

The reporting location for this position is the Natural Resources Field Office at Calaveras Big Trees State Park; the position will work throughout the District. This position will work under the direction of the Senior Environmental Scientist. The position is responsible for ensuring District’s CEQA compliance; planning and implementing the District’s exotic plant control program and Weed Information Management System mapping program; managing the grazing program and habitat restoration projects; overseeing the natural resources volunteer program; and other related duties. This position may work up to 1500 hours per year. State housing is not available.
