The reporting location for this position is the District Trail Headquarters located in Point Lobos Ranch State Park. This position will work under the direction of The District Roads and Trails Park Maintenance Supervisor and include working on Heavy Equipment and trail projects throughout the District. The incumbents will be responsible for performing general manual labor, and under supervision of the Roads and Trails Park Maintenance Supervisor, may lead in-house trail crews of Maintenance Park Aids and California Conservation Corps Crews. Normal working hours are 7:00am to 4:30pm, four days per week. This position may work up to 1500 hours per year. This position is pending Personnel approval. There are two vacant positions available. State housing is not available. However, State Park Employees are eligible for below market rate housing at California State University at Monterey Bay.
