Under the supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator II and with general guidance by the Staff Information Systems Analyst, Property and Special Taxes Department (PSTD), the Associate Information Systems Analyst has responsibility to support successful use and implementation of Information Technology (IT) systems at BOE. Duties include: investigation, analysis, testing, and maintenance of information systems currently in use within the PSTD.
Assist or lead in the development and implementation of new data processing equipment and procedures into the work environment. Assist or lead the coordination of data processing activities between the Department and Technology Services Division (TSD). Assist or lead the development of Management Information Systems and the development of IT reports. Assist or lead the evaluation of IT needs and facilitate the assignment of all data processing equipment, including local area networks (LANs), personal computers, related software applications, and peripheral equipment. Represent the two Special Taxes Divisions in departmental or enterprise-wide projects as needed. The incumbent also assists or leads with the oversight and coordination of the activities of the PC support staff in PSTD. The position is located in a high-rise building.
