The Board of Equalization is looking for a self-starting, collaborative, and team oriented individual, with project management experience for the Technology Services, Project Management Office. As a project manager, working under the direction of the Strategic Project Office Manager, you will manage all aspects of assigned projects utilizing the Board of Equalization, Project Management Methodology.
The successful candidate will serve as project manager for small to medium size projects, or assist project managers on large scale projects. The project manager will lead the project team through the project management lifecycle, from initiation through closure. The project manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to: develop and maintain project schedules; identify, manage, and track project issues and risks; define and manage project scope; communicate project status; ensure project quality; and cross-train on other Strategic Project Office responsibilities.
Qualified candidates must have the ability to develop an understanding of the Board of Equalization business processes and practices; provide good customer service; demonstrate sound judgment; mange change; provide good oral and written communication; perform analytical thinking; resolve problems; and be flexible and open to change. Experience with Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, and SharePoint 2010 is desired.
