The reporting location for this position is the State Capitol. This position will work under the direction of the Capital District Superintendent. The State Park Superintendent II is responsible for the management and oversight of the State Capitol Museum, the Governor’s Mansion State Historic Park and the Leland Stanford Mansion State Historic Park. The Sector Superintendent will be responsible for the overall management of these units including Public Safety, Museum Operations, Exhibit Development, Collections Management, Administrative and Maintenance Services. The successful candidate must possess a high degree of political astuteness, and understand the political sensitivity of these park units as well as possess experience in managing special funding, budgeting, planning, and organization. The Sector Superintendent is a key member of the Capital District’s Management Team. This position is pending Executive Personnel Review Committee approval. State housing is not available.
