Team member, Network Servers and Infrastructure Unit: Under the direction of the DPM II, the incumbent provides technical support and service to customers for automating software deployments, network operating systems, and applications software. Other tasks include remote access, intelligent storage, Microsoft infrastructure applications and troubleshooting LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity issues.
Desirable Qualifications include: Knowledge of features and functions of network operating systems, applications, office suite software, remote access, infrastructure software management tools, and specifically software deployment automation with LANDesk or SMS and network connectivity. Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and resolving problems with network connected servers, PC's, network printers and multi-function copiers, peripherals, monitors, video terminals and related devices. Knowledge of infrastructure connectivity including cabling, hubs, switches, and controllers, etc.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective team-building relationships with management, staff, and vendors. Must be customer service oriented and self-motivated to meet stringent workload and project deadlines, and be prepared to work independently within an overall team framework or as a team leader, when required.
