This position is located in Riverside. Under the general supervision of a Business Taxes Administrator I, the Business Taxes Compliance Specialist independently performs the more complex and difficult tax compliance and collection work. The incumbent, while working autonomously, informs the supervisor of complex and/or sensitive issues on assigned cases and acts as an expert resource to journey level staff with responsibility under the various sales and use tax programs and provides administrative support to management and supervision. Travel required 5% of the time. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
