The reporting location for this position is Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. This position will work under the direction of the North Sector Superintendent. The incumbent is a critical part of the Sector Leadership team, which provides Sector-wide management and oversight for two of the State’s busiest campgrounds, the most visited State Natural Reserve as well as four additional day use parks and State Beaches with an annual attendance of over 7.5 million visitors. The position provides oversight and direct supervision of the permanent and seasonal staff at the designated reporting location and also acts as the Sector Maintenance Chief with two Park Maintenance Supervisors reporting directly to this position. This is a wonderful opportunity to join an active team and work with a dedicated staff and active non-profit associations. The incumbent will learn and strengthen personal skills for advancement in this busy coastal setting. State housing is not available.
