The Staff Information Systems Analyst (Spec.) will directly report to a Business Taxes Administrator I. The SISA will facilitate the gathering of information from various sources to populate data base/desktop applications. The incumbent will modify and create information systems to compare data to establish leads and generate reports. Incumbent will also represent CUTS as LAN (local area network) System coordinator. Work as project manager for various innovative system projects. Desired qualifications include strong analytical skills to review and process data from various resources to support program objectives. Ability to communicate clearly with programmers from other state, county and local agencies. Knowledge of data processing concepts, practices, methods and principles. Incumbent must be able to meet deadlines while handling a variety of projects with varying deadlines and work cooperatively with all levels of staff. Travel to the various external agencies will be required 5% of the time. The position is located in a high-rise building. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted.
