Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator I, and the general guidance of an Associate Tax Auditor or the Business Taxes Specialist, the incumbent assists in conducting criminal tax investigations, including suspect and associate background investigations. Also assists in the preparation of search warrants, executions of search warrants, and development of prosecution packages. Range A and B performs the less difficult tasks, while the Business Taxes Representative, Range C, is assigned the more difficult tasks. Interested candidates must meet the educational requirements. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
