Under the general direction of the Data Processing Manager II in the Project Management Office (PMO) within the Technology Services Division (TSD), the Senior Information Systems Analyst serves both independently and as a team leader in planning, designing, and carrying out a full range of activities involving, and in support of, project management, procurement, and contract administration. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Reportable Project Support -Program Document Support: Supports CDE programs in developing and writing various project documents, including Feasibility Study Reports (FSRs), IT Procurement Plans, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Special Project Reports (SPRs) for reportable IT projects.Project Management Support: Assists and supports the CDE IT Project Manager with project management and administration activities, including development and management of project plans and monitoring schedules.System Development/Implementation Support:Participates in all activities related to the evaluation and selection of systems integrators.Contract Support and Monitoring: Monitors the IT reportable project integration/developer contracts.
SharePoint Support Implementation/Management Lead – Serves as the lead coordinator for implementation and management of the Microsoft SharePoint tool across CDE business units. Assists the DPM III in planning, organizational, and documentation activities in preparation for agency-level deployment of the SharePoint collaboration tool set.
Lead Analyst – Acts as the lead analyst over a small group of professional staff in the PMO. Assigns incoming workload to PMO staff. Oversees and provides leadership to the PMO staff that analyzes oversight agency notices, including, but not limited to, DGS Bulletins, CA Department of Technology Policy Letters, and Department of Finance notices. Ensures analysis is conducted timely and accurately.
Ability to provide leadership and guidance.
Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Experience in developing and writing Feasibility Study Reports and Requests for Proposals.
Support management and the missions and goals of the division and unit.

Describe your work experience with using Microsoft SharePoint. Be specific about the version(s) of SharePoint with which you have experience as well as your type of experience (e.g., end user, site collection administrator, server administrator, application workflow development).
