Job Description:
Under close supervision and in a learner capacity, the Student Assistant/Graduate Student Assistant will assist staff with a wide variety of information technology support duties; this includes, but is not limited to assisting the district’s LAN Coordinator in the performance of analysis, development, installation, implementation, procurement and support of the district’s information technology systems. The Student Assistant assists the district’s LAN coordinator, who is responsible for all aspects of the Local Area Network (LAN), desktop PCs, laptops, and systems for the district with system enhancements and/or changes. Wage will be adjusted per hourly rate worked. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for one or more consecutive days. Continued enrollment in college courses is required. Students with academic majors related to Computer Science and IT are encouraged to apply. Hours are flexible.
