Job Description:
The Board of Equalization is seeking a dedicated, talented individual with strong background in developing and evaluating information security specific requirements based on nature of project. The successful candidate will have a background that includes familiarity with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800 series, IRS Publication 1075, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) and other security standards, as well as accepted principles in system development and securing data networks. We are seeking someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills who can utilize diplomacy, tact, and professionalism dealing with enterprise projects of medium or large scale. Position requires the ability to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality in performing assigned tasks. Position is Limited Term (24 Months) but may become permanent, pending funding approval. Position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
