JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of the System Software Specialist III (Supervisor) and the technical direction of the Audit Applications Architect, the incumbent functions independently as a high-level technical specialist performing the more difficult, highly specialized assignments. The incumbent must demonstrate true proficiency and have expert level knowledge of more complex programming standards and methodologies, all aspects of the applications and their interfacing subsystems, the roles of system testers, functional analysts, distributed software system support analysts, and the workflows of each application. The incumbent serves as an expert and consultant for assigned areas of responsibility and coordinates, monitors, and provides updates on production issues, and is also responsible for performing complex analytical studies and activities related to information technology best practices.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS :
Expert knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle.
Expert knowledge of SQL Server database/object design and development.
Expert knowledge of Visual Studio inlcuding development with C#, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
Expert knowledge of ASP.Net / MVC / WPF application development.
Expert knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services or IBM Data Stage.
Established record of working well with customers.
Established record of creating SDLC related documentation including
