Job Description:
Under general supervision of the Supervising Tax Auditor II, the Tax Technician II is responsible for the more complex technical duties. The incumbent exercises a high degree of judgment and initiative in providing the technical support necessary to, input and upload digital audits into the Integrated Revenue Information System (IRIS) and prepare complex adjustments when the audits are not uploaded correctly; transfer mailing information from the tax/fee payers’ registration data on IRIS to the selected audit transmittal letters on Document Management System, update audit hours on IRIS database, and maintain audit case events on IRIS for audit cases performed by the audit staff at the Audit Examination Branch. This position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
