Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of an Administrator II in the Withholding Services & Compliance Section (WSCS), the incumbent is responsible for project and analytical work to support the operational functions of WSCS. The incumbent’s primary responsibility is to provide analysis for business requirements relating to the Withhold at Source System (WASS), Enterprise Data Revenue (EDR), and WSCS. You will utilize a variety of analytical techniques to evaluate and identify change requests for system and process improvements. Preparation of various documents and reports requires the incumbent to be detail oriented and produce accurate results. You must display good organizational and time management skills together with the ability to perform multiple tasks.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Advanced skills utilizing MS Office products including Microsoft Project, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel with Pivot Tables.
  • Ability to effectively analyze issues, define problems, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to effectively and efficiently manage multiple workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use good judgment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally with all levels of internal and external staff.
  • Willingness to learn and thrive in an environment of change.
  • Working Knowledge of FTB Systems (TI, BETS,WASS).
  • Project experience or knowledge.
  • Positive attitude and a sense of humor.

Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) may also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.     • The scope and size of the task/project you worked on
    • Your role and responsibility for the task/project
    • The final outcome of the task/project
