Job Description: JOB SUMMARY:
Under close supervision the Program Technician (PT) performs the less complex licensing activities; reviews various forms for data entry.
40% Retrieves voicemail messages received from candidates requesting information regarding open positions within Licensing and Certification (L&C) and inputs the calls into the call tracking log. Return phone calls and provide answers to the questions using a transcript. Opens and sorts contact letters, scans and copies certification lists; mails applications and certification copies to the appropriate district offices.
30% The PT (LT) utilizes a schematic to review and audit documents for completion and direct staff to the appropriate party to answer questions regarding payroll and benefits, receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail to the appropriate staff in the Personnel Liaison Unit (PLU) and provides clerical support to PLU staff: mail out letters, files, photocopies, faxes, mails, and types miscellaneous documents, inputs data into an Excel spreadsheet, and creates new file folder labels.
25% Assists the Personnel Liaisons with processing certification lists: mail out Employee Inquiry notices, opens and sorts the notices upon return; codes, scans and copies certification lists; mails applications and copies of coded certification list to the appropriate district offices.
5% Other duties as assigned.
