Job Description:

The reporting location for this position is the Chino Sector. This position is responsible for maintaining an assigned portion of a large, complex, grounds park management program. Responsibilities include caring for turf areas, ground cover, shrubs, remote irrigation system, tree, rider mowers, chipper, and other grounds related tools and equipment. This position assists with and participates in the District’s water conservation efforts, chemical application program, and resource protection projects. This position will lead and work with seasonal employees, inmate labor crews, and volunteers. The incumbent’s schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
