Under the guidance of the WASS Testing Lead and the general direction of the Data Processing Manager II, you will use various software tools to test system enhancements, proposed business solutions and existing system defects. You will work independently as well as closely with other testing staff members, and requirements and development staff to test relevant system and application behaviors to resolve system-specific incidents and issues. Your work will be performed within our Mission and Values framework and is geared toward the Bureau’s effectiveness and efficiency while focusing on the needs of our business customer.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as Microsoft Project.

Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) may also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.
