The California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) is seeking a motivated individual for an exciting career as a Staff Services Analyst (General). Desirable Qualifications:

Possess the ability to:

  • Accurately collect, manage, maintain and analyze varied sets of data;
  • Review, assess and continuously improve systems and processes related to data capture;
  • Handle multiple assignments and work effectively under pressure; and,
  • Work independently or in a team environment with dynamic priorities.

Demonstrate knowledge of:

  • Data analytics and statistics;
  • Intermediate level Excel (including charts, graphs and table display);
  • Database queries and reporting; and,
  • Experience with PIMS, MIRS and other legacy state Personnel systems.

Note:
(1) Prior to employment with CalSTRS, a background investigation (BI) will be conducted. The BI consists of a Personal History Statement and fingerprinting through the Department of Justice.
