Job Description:
Under the general direction of a Supervising Tax Auditor II, the incumbent serves as an expert staff resource responsible for the most difficult and complex technical support functions for the Appeals and Data Analysis staff. The TTIII will be responsible for acknowledging petitions and refunds and processing refunds for the Fire Prevention Fee Program as determined by CalFire. The TTIII will also create, maintain and organize appeals case files and may be involved in associated refund tasks including refund scheduling, processing returned refund warrants and warrant research related to outside inquiries. The position is located in high-rise building. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.

The position may become permanent if the project/workload is permanently established.
