JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of a Tax Program Supervisor or an Office Services Manager I in the Information Capture and Banking Section, the TPT II serves as a technical expert and performs the most complex work assignments related to Bad Docs and technical and training support for the IPACS, iCapture and/or the Tandem system. The TPT II ensures section staff is provided with correct and appropriate training, creates and maintains a large volume of programs and procedures utilized for all processes and acts as a lead, technical expert; works on system maintenance, which involves trouble-shooting activities and annual changes. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying, researching and resolving system and procedural issues, preparing and updating training manuals and providing training classes for the section’s staff and coordinates these activities with other areas of the section and department. The TPT II works with all programs, PIT, BE and Non-Tax. The TPT II also performs in a lead capacity assisting the supervisor in carrying out certain aspects of the supervisor’s responsibilities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Knowledge and experience with Tandem, IPACS, and iCapture systems and PIT, BE and Non-Tax workloads.
  • Experience coordinating and conducting training classes; good presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Year End Shutdown and Annual Change processes.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to remain flexible in response to changing priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Sense of humor.
  • May be required to work Swing Shift.
