JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of the Data Processing Manager III, Systems Engineering and Access Management Section of the Operations Management Bureau, the incumbent is responsible for managing the IDTS and SWIFT Support Unit. The incumbent will perform supervisory duties of managing day-to-day workload and personnel matters of the unit which include, but are not limited to, planning, organizing, and directing the activities of a professional staff responsible for administration of FTB’s Internal Data Transfer System (IDTS), Secure Web Internet File Transfer System (SWIFT), Enterprise Single Sign On (ESSO), SharePoint software, and associated operational and processes. There are also significant responsibilities for the department’s Clear Quest application. This includes responsibility for planning and implementing upgrades associated with these technologies, managing the day-to-day administration of these technologies, as well as providing communication about the status of and resolving issues and incidents associated with these technologies. The incumbent provides leadership and technical direction to staff members and works directly with the Section’s Data Processing Manager III to execute their duties which include identify, assign, monitor, and evaluate assignments: provide recommendations on the strategic direction of the various technologies within the purview: provide performance reviews: and deliver status reports. All duties are performed within the framework of the Department’s mission and values, and in accordance with the Department’s Policies and General Procedures. Emphasis is placed on providing excellent service to our customers.
