JOB DESCRIPTION :
Personnel Services is seeking dynamic individuals with personnel transactions experience to perform a variety of duties which would include processing a variety of payroll and benefit documents while providing quality customer service to external and internal customers. Personnel Specialist staff work in a team environment utilizing automated processes to complete multiple confidential workloads for fulltime and hourly employees such as: payroll completion, attendance, benefits, garnishments, and employee accounts receivables. As a team member, you will utilize effective communication with others, ensure operational goals are met, and the department’s Missions and Values are upheld.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing personnel workloads
Ability to work independently or in a team environment using good tact and judgment
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive personnel issues

Strong analytical and problem solving skills including recommending/making changes to personnel work processes
Personnel Specialist experience
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong work ethic, including attendance and dependability
Enthusiasm and a sense of humor
