Under the general supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator, the Tax Technician II performs the more complex technical work associated with registration, account maintenance, and close outs. Answers incoming telephone calls and registers taxpayers under the tax and fee programs administered by the Special Taxes Policy and Compliance Division (STPCD). The incumbent may learn and perform duties in more varied and complex program areas. The incumbent will receive additional compensation each month for public contact through the telephone per Pay Differential #186. The incumbent will receive an additional $100.00 per month pay differential. The position is located in a high-rise building.
