The Business Entities Section is looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals who like a challenge. Under the direction of a Tax Program Supervisor, you will perform a variety of functions related to return processing and account resolution for Business Entity (BE) returns and payments. You will have the opportunity to examine BE accounts to determine and make appropriate adjustments. This includes approving/denying refunds and claims, performing fund transfers and assessing additional tax and penalties for Partnership, LLC, Corporation and Exempt returns and payments. You may also correspond with taxpayers and their representatives to request additional information for account resolution.

Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) may also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.
