JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are looking for 3 self directed, enthusiastic, positive, people to join the Exempt Organization Support Call Center. The incumbent provides information and assistance to the public regarding exempt organization forms, filing requirements, revivor requirements and other general information. In addition, the incumbent examines business entity accounts and makes appropriate adjustments. This full journey level position may include, but is not limited to, approval and denial of refund claims, fund transfers, assessing additional tax, assessing penalties, and corresponding with taxpayers and/or their representatives regarding additional information necessary to resolve complex accounts. As training is provided, prior knowledge of Exempt Organizations is not required.

Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) may also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.
