Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the administrator of the Motor Carrier Office, the incumbent is responsible for independently organizing, coordinating and leading large collaborative projects involving complex and sensitive departmental and section procedures, policies and operations. These projects include audit, compliance and administrative functions. The incumbent is responsible for decisions and recommendations that have state, national and international implications. The incumbent must recognize that procedures and policies implemented may affect 57 participating national and international IFTA jurisdictions, as well as carriers from Mexico, along with various governments. The incumbent will be responsible for issuing various reports that carry the same state, national and international implications. The incumbent is also responsible for evaluating the Board’s participation in the IFTA Agreement. Travel required 25% of the time. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
