Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of the Corporate Communications Section manager, the Production Services Manager plans, coordinates, and manages three business units, through subordinate supervisors and a lead, in the Corporate Communications Section. The business units are: the Publications Business Services Unit, Reprographics/Typesetting Unit, and the Marketing and Graphic Services and Multimedia group. Duties include providing oversight and guidance for the department’s 6,000 business forms, ensuring plain language and departmental writing standards are met, providing oversight and guidance for the department’s in-house print services, and managing the day-to-day activities of the multimedia, marketing, and graphics services groups.

WHO MAY APPLY :
Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) may also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.
