The position will be temporarily located in the Riverside ICAT Office but will be relocated to a future office in Rancho Cucamonga upon its opening. Under the close supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator I, the Business Taxes Representative (BTR) is assigned cases by terminal digit and independently works collection and use tax cases of moderate difficulty as well as the moderately difficult claims of exemption. The BTR must keep the Business Taxes Administrator l informed of complex issues on assigned cases. The accounts are worked from the office by telephone and mail. Work is performed by use of a personal computer, and actions taken are initiated and recorded on the personal computer, as are the case notes. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. Interviews will be conducted in the Riverside ICAT office. More than one position may be available. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
