Under the general supervision of the Data Processing Manager II, the Senior Information Systems Analyst (Technical) will be responsible for the management and security of BOE's complex network infrastructure. Responsibilities for this position include the design, planning, installation and monitoring of network security hardware and/or software appliances including Network /Host IPS, Security Information and Event Management, Vulnerability Scanners, VPNs and Firewall systems. This position also serves as a project technical team leader on enterprise network support projects, providing technical expertise and technical leadership.
Desirable qualifications include:
A strong network engineering and security background. Experience with Network and O/S security strategies/methodologies and best practices. Experience with SIEM, Vulnerability Management, VPNs, Firewalls. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good work ethic. Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills. Experience as a technical project leader. Current CCNA certification desirable.
