Under the general supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator, the Office Technician will perform varied duties, which require a high degree of initiative, independence and originality in order to complete tasks with a minimum of supervision or specific direction. These include clerical functions such as typing letters, preparing reports, reproduction tasks, scanning and indexing documents and distributing mail. Additionally, the employee may assist with minor technical duties such as reviewing and updating account registration, reviewing tax returns for accuracy and obtaining corrected information from taxpayers when needed. The position is located in a high-rise building. A LEAP Certification List will be utilized. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
