Under general direction of the Business Taxes Administrator I, the Tax Technician III Cashier performs the full range of cashiering duties and is responsible for the overall operation of the Motor Carrier Office cashier’s office as well as the most difficult and complex technical duties. This includes, but is not limited to, processing, verifying and balancing all monies received, preparing transmittal documents, headquarters transmittals, bank deposits, issuing International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) decals and flat rate decals. Responsible for controlling press numbered accountable forms. Bilingual (Spanish) Candidates are encouraged to Apply. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
