The reporting location for this position is the Lake Perris State Recreation Area Sector Office located in Perris. This position will work under the direction of the Sector Superintendent. The State Park Superintendent I is responsible for the District Aquatic program, Diamond Valley Reservoir (MWD Contract) and District Public Safety Duties. This position develops, directs, coordinates, and recommends plans and programs for Lake Perris State Recreation Area. This includes programs such as aquatic safety protection, boating safety and enforcement, information and interpretation (to include aquatic oriented special events) and equipment maintenance. The incumbent will also be tasked with the duties of the District Public Safety Superintendent. State housing is not available.
