Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator (BTA) III, the Business Taxes Specialist II acts as a highly skilled technical expert providing consultation and advice on liens, bankruptcy, seizure, and seized asset liquidation issues. The position is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating advanced compliance and bankruptcy programs. This position coordinates complex bankruptcy, lien and asset seizure tax issues and services as a liaison on special project committees; reviews legal bankruptcy, collection, and seizure documents and referrals for technical accuracy and sufficiency of content for referral to the Office of the Attorney General. This position exercises a high degree of independence and responsibility in these activities. The position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
